But, Imam, It Was Only ONE Beer!
So, this Malaysian model caught drinking beer is supposed to be caned next week and she wants it to be done in public, not behind prison walls.
Must be one of us! From what little I have read, under Muslim law it will be only six strokes and they aren’t as hard as what we were led to believe from the Michael Fay case a dozen years ago or so. So she can probably deal with it. And become famous. And write a book. And appear on the Malaysian version of Larry Emir or Dr. Philistine.
I was never a fan of caning – didn’t even know what it actually meant until I got involved in this world well into my 40s. I mean it’s totally un-American! Not like switches, belts and ping pong paddles! Not to mention thick-soled sandals.
Anyway, the few realistic vids I have seen with mild pedagogical canings is making the practice a little brighter on my radar screen. And a chance to exhibit some examples.

I hope that naughty Islamic model, gets painfully caned. She deserves 25 of the best strokes of the cane, on that bare bottom of hers. I wish I was doing the caning, I also wish it would be put on 'you tube' for all the world to see. Don't you all agree?
The first photo, of the girl with a grimace of pain from a stroke of her Mums cane, mirrors the canings I still get at home' despite being over 20 and in University!She has always been a firm believer in C.P. for me!I get it for breaking her 'Rules' which she maintains are no more than good behaviour and hard word work!
I have pleaded with her to stop it as none of my friends even get spanked ,let alone caned!I find it awfully unfair getting it when they do the same things and some are not even told off!I was home quite late last Friday,from a party -we stayed later than intended and ofcourse I got a row!
Saturday I was in detention and I felt tears welling up when she said she was going to cane me!After tea I was sent to bed!she came up about 7pm with her long pliable cane and I had to bend over a chair with my PJ trousers removed.She caned sharply and took her time in giving me 12 painful stokes!
I was left to cry and compose myself before going down stairs to appologise to her. Sue.
